Y3 Polar Shelter building

Inspired by the intrepid explorers we have been learning about and the Inuit people who have lived in the Arctic for thousands of years (also Mr Fletcher!), Year 3s worked in teams to build a shelter to survive the harsh polar climates!

Y3 Hour of code – computing

Year 3 celebrated the hour of code by using computers to create and analyse databases. This meant working collaboratively to first choose the fields to fill in, then adding this information. We learnt the databases hold losts of information but can be used to quickly answer questions.

Year 4 – Hot Shot Basketball Champions!

A massive congratulations to the Year 4 Basketball team who won the recent Hotshots competition! After a series of competative groups stage games, we got through to the semi-final.
