Our first learning journey in Year 6 is ‘Los ConquistaDORES’ and as part of our immersion into the Aztec culture, the year 6 pupils practised their fire-lighting skills to grill a portion of delicious corn-on-the-cob (an essential food for people in Mexico for thousands of years). They persevered through wind and rain, and showed a surprisingly high tolerance for chilli sauce!
