We had 3 teams from Dore run at this event, along with one Y6 girl who competed in team made up of competitiors from more than one school and finished third overall.
Every child ran their heart out and gave their best performance of the season. The weather was awful too! Wet and windy.
The Y5/6 boys ‘A’ team finished 3rd overall behind Dobcroft 1st & Mylnhurst 2nd. We weren’t too far behind these very strong teams either. Well done boys for a fantastic performance!
Well done to every child who’s competed in this season’s cross country events. We’ve had some great results, and some really steady, consistent improvements. MANY, MANY THANKS also to our amazing parents for supporting, and to Adam Taylor, who has taken on the running of this team for us this year and done an amazing job of encourgaing even more children to participate in these events. Without your support Adam, we would not have been able to put teams out, so we are eternally grateful for your tremendous commitment and dedication.
