This week the children have listened to the story of the Bears Winter house . They learnt how the bear used sticks and moss to make a cosy house for him to sleep in all winter .
The children made their own winter dens. The drag the old christmas down from the caretaker driveway and used the loppers to cut the branches . They then used the trunk for the main part of the den and used the branches to fill in any gaps where the cold winter wind could blow through. Later in the week they decided to make their own city, they made a police station, hospital, shop, fire station and a school. A very busy last week of the term.
