We’ve had a lovely 3 days at preschool.
To celebrate the beginning of May the children enjoyed taking part in a May day dance. We watched children dancing around a maypole and then with ribbons and some Maypole dancing music we did our interpretation. The children listened really well to the instructions and clapping to help them keep in beat.
We also had a lovely Spring walk, we left the school grounds and walked down the road looking at the blossom and spring flowers. We also noticed the new spring leaves. The children loved finding and blowing the dandelion clocks and had great fun rolling down the long grass .
On Friday we talked about the Kings coronation and some of the children used dandelions and other flowers to make their own natural crowns.
Have a lovely Coronation bank holiday weekend .
