Y5 enjoyed a day of cricket last week at Abbeydale Sports Club. All of Y5 got a chance to practise using the site’s top-flight training areas and compete against other local schools in individual games. This allowed the children to apply their PE learning from the past half-term and to build on the skills that they have ben taught, in a game situation.
Big congratulations to both the boys and girls A teams, who won their events and will now progress to the city finals later in the year.
