We teach phonics using the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme. They have a dedicated parent information page.
Please practise the following as often as you can:
- Reading book – this book is for practise and should be easy for your child to read.
- Phonics book – to practise letters and sounds learned so far.
- Tricky word lists – to practise common words that aren’t phonetically decodable. Just read these as whole words.
