At Dore Primary School our core values of resilience, creativity, resourcefulness and kindness are at the heart of our curriculum, which incorporates the National Curriculum, and is delivered through P4C (Philosophy for Children), TASC (Thinking in a Social Context) and Outdoor Learning approaches.
When our children enter the workforce, they are likely to be doing jobs that do not currently exist, such is the rate of progress of technological development. We want the children who come to Dore Primary to be creative, adaptable and better prepared for life outside the classroom.
Through creating learning opportunities to develop resilience and resourcefulness, our children are encouraged to think for themselves, keep going when challenges are tough, and develop the skills and abilities to solve problems in school – and in the future.
By promoting a happy, caring, secure and stimulating environment, where individuals develop robust self-esteem with responsible global citizenship, every child is given the opportunity to reach their full personal and academic potential.
