Just before the snow came(!), we entered two teams of Y6 girls into a 7-a-side competitions at St George’s Park, Graves.
Both teams performed admirably, working well together to play some lovely football and scores some great goals. It was fantastic to see the development during the morning – both in terms of confidence and skills – of all the players, particularly those for whom this was their first experience of competitive football.
Our teams both finished second in their groups, with the winners both contesting a hard-fought final.
It was a pleasure to be there for the morning, and our lucky panda mascot definitely helped!
