On Friday 6th October, Mr Hanks and Mrs Taggart took two Dore teams to compete against 12 other schools in a Tag Rugby Tournament. It was the first time we had attended a rugby event and it was a lot of fun with a great level of competativeness.
The Y5P team brilliantly well winning their groups stage. Y5H had move closer matches and didn’t come out on top in their group but then went on to will all of their seeded games.
As a result, we’ll be taking one team to a final on 6th November.
What reall shone out was the teamwork by our sides. A solid wall in defence and supporting each other in attack. It was great stuff and we can get better!
