Welcome back and welcome to all the new children. We’ve had a lovely week meeting all our new children and welcoming back the children from last year. The children have been exploring inside and out. We’ve enjoyed the return to summer and hot weather.
We’ve had lots of fun this week, learning about different dinosaurs and how we know that dinosaurs existed. We made habitats for the dinosaurs and dinosaur fossils. The children also made clay volcanos and used ‘chemicals’ to make them erupt.
This week the children have been listening to the story of The Sun Egg. They have been making their own sun eggs, elves and also used peelers to make wands . As always they have been outside exploring water, looking for insects and cooking cheese wraps on the fire .
