Aztec collages

The Year 6 Stratford Residential 2023

The Year 6 pupils and staff enjoyed three glorious days in sunny Stratford-upon-Avon last week. The children were a credit to the school, learnt lots about Shakespeare (and chocolate!) and made lots of happy memories.

Maths Y6 Competition

4 of our fabulous mathematicians gave up their Sataurday morning to attend a Maths Conundrum at Westbourne School. The children completed against other Y5 and Y6 pupils from across Sheffield. Team work was essential, inaddition to a fluid and deep understanding of maths. The team were great ambassadors of Dore Primary School.

Year 6 Sports Hall Athletics

Having already won their two previous heats in style, the Year 6 athletics team came a very respectable fifth place in the city finals today. The children competed with grace and humility throughout the competition and to place in the top five primary schools in Sheffield is a massive achievement!

The Dore Primary Bouldering Team recently competed in a qualifying session for the Sheffield Schools Bouldering Championship, at the Climbing Works in Sheffield.
