We were thinking about the story ‘starts with a seed’ and linked it to our own growth and how we grow. We drew around the children and they decorated them selves with material and wool.

Last term, the children used their cooking skills to make porridge fit for an astronaut! They practised measuring, pouring and stirring. The toppings they used were all suitable for space, and were planned by the children themselves!
Today, the children went to the wildlife garden to make dens and nests for the hibernating creatures that are beginning to wake up.
The recent opening of The Book Jungle and The Magical World of Books has been featured in the Star newspaper! While I was reading, I spotted that the brillinant Y4 Basketball team winners were there in the paper too!
This week we have been thinking about growing and looking for signs of Spring amongst the wind and the rain! We have planted seeds for French beans and talked about what plants need to grow.
The Dore Primary Bouldering Team recently competed in a qualifying session for the Sheffield Schools Bouldering Championship, at the Climbing Works in Sheffield.
