Year 5 have started to play tag rugby. They are actually building on skills they developed in Year 3 and 4. It really shows from the first lessons they were understanding the tricky concepts and putting their teamwork into practice. I antipate a few stars in the next World Cup, or the one after that!
Y5H Denmark and Y5P Germany have had a brilliant start to the 2023-24 academic year. Our first learning journey I called Fantastic Voyage and this is an accurate description of the children’s adventure in year 5 so far. As part of their Learning journey we have:

Welcome back and welcome to all the new children. We’ve had a lovely week meeting all our new children and welcoming back the children from last year. The children have been exploring inside and out. We’ve enjoyed the return to summer and hot weather.
To start the year, Y4 spent one of our first Health and Wellbeing lessons thinking about friendship, and what makes a great friend. We then went outside and took photos of our friendships in action.
